Bisphenol-Curable Fluoroelastomer- (cure incorporated)

Fluoroelastomers (FKM) are a class of synthetic rubber materials known for their excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and oils. FKMs are categorized based on their monomer composition, fluorine content, and curing mechanisms.

1. Dipolymer FKM
Composition: Vinylidene fluoride (VDF) and hexafluoropropylene (HFP).
Fluorine Content: 66-68%.
Properties: Good chemical resistance, moderate low-temperature flexibility.
Applications: Seals, gaskets, O-rings in automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.

2. Terpolymer FKM
Composition: VDF, HFP, and tetrafluoroethylene (TFE).
 Fluorine Content: 68-70%.
Properties: Improved chemical and thermal resistance compared to dipolymer.
Applications: Aggressive chemical environments, high-temperature seals.
